Bad Wolves "Zombie" Certified Platinum by the RIAA

BW_Platinum Presentation.jpeg

Bad Wolves have officially achieved platinum status for their intergenerational, global smash debut single, “Zombie.” The RIAA certification marks a major milestone for the band, making them the sole rock band to obtain a platinum certification for a 2018 release.  The plaque was presented to Bad Wolves by their co-manager, Zoltan Bathory, Eleven Seven Label Group CEO Allen Kovac, and promoters Larry and Fred Frank of Frank Productions/Live Nation prior to their set at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ.

Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext states, "We are deeply humbled and overwhelmed by the continued success of our rendition of “Zombie”.  For many artists reaching platinum status in and of itself is a dream come true. But the greater story here is YOU.”  All the fans on every single continent - without your passion and enthusiasm none of this would be possible.”

He continued, “This year the global rock community came together to support our efforts to turn a tragic loss into something hopeful. This resounding effect with music fans around the world for the better part of a year now is a strong testament of Dolores’ timeless song writing and the message of the song being as relevant today as it’s ever been. We are truly grateful”

“Without getting too far into tree-hugger territory, I believe there is a pattern to the Universe and there is a pattern to success.  When I put on my ‘manager hat’ - that’s what I’m looking for, and that’s what I saw in Bad Wolves,” the band’s co-manager and Five Finger Death Punch founder Zoltan Bathory adds, “You have to have the right personas, the right songs, the right sound, the right work ethic, and endless determination.”

“Zombie is a timeless song that has now had global success twice.  From a tragedy, a wonderful outcome. Thank you, Dolores O’Riordan.”  says Eleven Seven Label Group CEO Allen Kovac, who managed The Cranberries during the original release of “Zombie”.

Bad Wolves released “Zombie” earlier this year as a tribute to the late The Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan, who was set to record and reprise her iconic vocals on the track the day she tragically passed away. On June 19th, the band presented her kids with a $250,000 check, donating their proceeds from the massively successful and incredibly resonant track.

“Zombie" is not only a definitive moment for Bad Wolves — but it has also proven to be the breakout rock song (and story) of 2018.”  The single has also previously reached platinum status in Canada and gold in Australia. To date, “Zombie’s official music video for the song has racked up over 165 million views via Facebook and YouTube. The track hit #1 on Spotify's viral chart in over 40 countries, went to #1 on the iTunes overall songs chart and iTunes rock and metal charts, and reigned atop the US Rock radio chart for three straight weeks.  The unprecedented success of “Zombie” lead to Bad Wolves' debut album Disobey achieving the #22 spot on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Hard Rock Chart, #4 on Rock, and #8 on the Top Current Albums Chart.

Bad Wolves are currently on the road with Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, and Nothing More as part of the biggest U.S. summer amphitheater rock tour of 2018. The band will continue to tour extensively throughout the end of the year, including a trek across Europe with Three Days Grace this Fall, joining Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin and From Ashes to New on their U.S. Fall arena tour, and an arena tour through Canada this winter with Three Days Grace and Nothing More. Just Loud’s infectious, funky new song “Soul Train” feat. Debbie Harry of Blondie is out now. In the new video, Just Loud and Debbie engage in a high speed chase brought to life through ‘70s-inspired animation with a modern edge. The song’s glittery rhythm line, palm-muted guitar and irresistible chorus are the first taste of Just Loud’s newly announced self-titled debut album out November 16th via Five Seven Music.

PRESS HERE to watch the video, directed by world-renowned Kidmograph (Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and Tiesto), and check out V Magazine’s first look. Stream/download the song HERE.

“I knew someone who was on Soul Train years ago—she got kicked off,” says Just Loud about the song. “When we parted ways, I was like, ‘I’m gonna write a song about that.’ It’s a rebellious record—I want everyone to get up, move, and have a good time.”

“I’m glad I had a minute to hang with Just Loud the other night in Brooklyn at my Vans show, says Debbie Harry. “Glad to be doing a little bit on his latest single Soul Train. I actually performed on the TV show of the same name. I hope you all like the song.”

PRESS HERE to pre-order the album and get free downloads of “Soul Train” feat. Debbie Harry of Blondie and “Electrified,” a track that has been featured on playlists such as Spotify’s New Music Friday, New Noise and Digging Noise as well as Apple Music’s Jumpstart and The A-List: Alternative,  and is currently climbing the Alternative Radio chart with more than 1 million YouTube views - PRESS HERE to watch the video.

From the huge, anthemic nature of these songs to the absolutely riotous “You Got the Moves,” a Jackie Chan-referencing barnburner that addresses conflict in relationships, to “Will You Still Love Me” a naked plea that questions the nature of acceptance amidst a thumping slice of disco, Just Loud proves to be a bold new force in music with an aura that hearkens back to so many iconic musical touchstones with a modern twist, making him an intriguing one to watch in 2018.

Just Loud has also just announced his Fall tour supporting Dirty Heads, which kicks off September 21. Tickets are on sale now - PRESS HERE for details.

Born in Virginia, Just Loud’s adolescence largely revolved around his small country church. His rebellious and inquisitive nature, however, led him to be cast away from the church at 15 – leading him to pursue music. Vinnie Paul Abbott wasn’t just a drummer, he was an iconic fixture in the metal and hard rock community, a pioneer, and an absolute legend. He was a self taught drummer who went on to win many awards for his impeccable skills throughout his career.

A founding member of Pantera, DamagePlan and his current band HELLYEAH, Vinnie was a vital force for bands and millions of fans worldwide. Whether fans were turning their volume to 11 or headbanging their hearts out at live shows, Vinnie was an inspiration.

His most recent release, HELLYEAH's UNDEN!ABLE contained three hit singles, thanks to support from Sirius XM’s Octane. “All of us at Octane are so broken hearted to hear of the passing of our brother Vinnie Paul. We sent love to his family, band members and fans. You will be missed. Thinking of you reunited and rockin’ with Dime… Rest in Peace, Vinnie Paul Abbott”, Octane released in a statement.

Today, the world not only lost a legend, but also a genuine human being who lived to put a smile on the faces of everyone he met. May he be reunited with his brother as we all strive to continue his legacy.

Eleven Seven Music is heartbroken, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, bandmates, friends, and fans through this difficult time.

Having just signed a global record deal with Eleven Seven Label Group, the female-fronted alt-rock trio are excited to share the next wave of music from their eagerly anticipated debut album, which is due for release this October via Five Seven Music.

With an electrifying chorus, ‘Shame On You’, continues to demonstrates a band on the rise. They explain, “’Shame On You’ is about two negative magnets constantly drawing themselves to one another. We know it's going to end in tears, waking up the morning after with a broken heart, but we're each other's doomed 'Ying and Yang', and that's just the way it is."

“Shame On You” follows Bang Bang Romeo’s previously released tracks ‘Chemical’ and ‘Natural Born Astronaut’, which earned them support across the pond from BBC Radio 1 and Britain’s Virgin Radio.  The tracks have also received critical acclaim from publications such as NME, The Independent, The Sun, tmrw magazine, and have gained themselves a fan in Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Anastasia “Stars” Walker and featuring Ross Cameron (guitar) and Richard Gartland (drums), Bang Bang Romeo are a propelling force for female-fronted bands in a male dominated industry, while providing a strong, open voice for the LGBT community.

The band has become a force to be reckoned with, opening for rock and alternative mainstays such as the Foo Fighters and The Killers, touring extensively throughout the UK and appearing on festivals such as Reading, TRNSMT, The Great Escape, Y-Not and Liverpool Sound City Festival.

Bang Bang Romeo’s buzz has also secured them a spot on the main stage at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, where they were personally chosen to open the festival’s 50th Anniversary celebration ahead of headliner Kasabian.

Working with a host of chart-topping producers in New York and LA, Bang Bang Romeo are ready to prove they are one of the most exciting new artists on the scene in 2018.  The band are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album, due out this October.

Bad Wolves Present $250,000 Check to The Children of Late Cranberries Frontwoman, Dolores O' Riordan

BadWolves_BandCheck.jpg

Last night at a sold out Gramercy Theatre in New York City, Bad Wolves presented a $250,000 check to Dolores O’ Riordan’s family onstage prior to a performance of “Zombie”.  O’Riordan’s two sons, Donny Jr. and Taylor Burton, alongside their father, Don Burton, were presented with the gift in an emotional moment.  The check was also accepted on behalf of their younger sisters, Molly and Dakota Burton.

O’Riordan was set to record her iconic vocals on the track on the day of her tragic passing. In advance of their debut album, Disobey, the band released “Zombie” as a single, with the commitment to bestow their proceeds to her four children.  The unprecedented global success of “Zombie” lead to the raising of $250,000, with a promise for more.

Our sadness the day Dolores passed was nothing compared to that of her children and her family.  In light of the tragedy, donating our proceeds to her children was the only thing that made sense. The ultimate goal is to present them with a $1,000,000 check – and the fact we’re a quarter of the way there is beyond incredible,” reflects Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext.  The connection that people have to this song, the stories, the memories and the kids who are hearing this song through Bad Wolves for the first time - it’s a true testament to the timelessness of their mother’s songwriting that will live on forever, and we are so grateful to be able to do this for them.”

Bad Wolves’ “Zombie” has been certified Gold in the United States and Australia, as well as gaining Platinum status in Canada. The track has topped charts worldwide, including the U.S. iTunes overall and rock charts, Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart, Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart, while also reigning atop the Active Rock radio chart for three straight weeks .  Bad Wolves have also earned the #1 spot on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart.  Additionally, the single has been planted atop the iTunes Metal chart in the U.K. and Germany for five straight months.  The official music video, a tribute to O’Riordan and an homage to the original, has  garnered over 125 million views across platforms.

Their debut album, Disobey, released in May via Eleven Seven Music, achieved the #22 spot on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Hard Rock Chart, #4 on Rock, and #8 on the Top Current Albums Chart. Consisting of vocalist Tommy Vext (ex-Divine Heresy), drummer John Boecklin (ex-DevilDriver), guitarist Doc Coyle (Vagus Nerve, ex-God Forbid), guitarist Chris Cain (Bury Your Dead), and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment), Bad Wolves have proven themselves to be the global breakout band of 2018.

Bad Wolves will be touring extensively throughout the rest of 2018, with the “What’s In Your Head” tour continuing through July 6th with label mates From Ashes to New and special guest Diamante.  They will also be joining Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin and Nothing More on their massive amphitheater tour this summer.    For tickets, VIP packages and more information, visit www.badwolvesnation.com.
